Pablo Picasso 1881 – 1973

Pablo Picasso was born more than 120 years ago in Malaga, Spain. He created over 20,000 paintings, prints, drawings, sculptures, ceramics, theater sets and costumes that convey myriad intellectual, political, and social messages.

Grades K-8 (K-3 may need some help from the teacher to get started.) 

2 to 3 Day project (45 minutes a day)

Materials

• 9” x 12” or 11” X 17” sheet white construction paper

• Oil pastels

• Black permanent marker
