Many times our world is a blur between Halloween and Christmas. I know you have noticed that many stores have already decorated for Christmas the day after Halloween. They have their Christmas wreaths, prelit trees, ornaments, and candy canes on every aisle. And even though most stores, restaurants, and banks are closed for Thanksgiving, everyone is wrapped up with Black Friday Deals and Cyber Monday.
Well, today, I want to slow everyone down. I created a week of Thanksgiving activities for the whole family. The hope is to bring us ALL closer to God and our families through this gratitude journal.
“Gratitude is a conscious, deliberate choice to focus on life’s blessings rather than its shortcomings. When you focus on our blessings, you feel abundant, but when you focus on what’s missing, you feel incomplete.” —From the book “Think 4:8” by Tommy Newberry
| Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him. — Psalm 95:2 |
